This interactive, networking session hosted by Learning Forward B.C. in partnership with the Dalai Lama Center for Peace and Education featured Dr. Kim Schonert-Reichl from U.B.C. and was facilitated by Learning Forward B.C. Board members. Explored were topics related to social and emotional learning including:

• How does social and emotional learning influence student learning and relate to teaching practice?
• What is the relationship between social /emotional learning and personalized learning?
• How is social and emotional learning being supported in your district?
• Participants took away facilitation processes that could be used to discuss the topic of social/emotional learning and support district and school leadership.
