Indigenous Education belongs to Everyone Part 3:  Continuing the  Journey  Together

Join Learning Forward BC in a 2-hour session facilitated by Denise Augustine, Superintendent of Indigenous Education (Ministry of Education and Early Learning)  with guests   Brad Baker, (Associate Superintendent of Indigenous Education( Ministry of Education and Early Learning)  and Joe Heslip (Ministry of Education and Early Learning) as they review our work for this school year and continue to  dive deeper into our learning  and understandings as we move forward together.

We will hear from diverse voices, including those of students, as we reflect on personal experiences and engage in rich conversations that will enable  and encourage us keep talking as we move forward together.

Who should attend this session?

1. In previous sessions in November and February, we have learned from conversations among all roles in the BC Education Sector, please join us again to continue this conversation.
2.  All educators, students and others in our sector are welcome  to join this session and we look forward  having your voice in the work that will lead into the next school year.

Denise Augustine and her guests  use story to bring the work of reconciliation to life. Rich conversations  that flow among the  variety of  Education roles and responsibilities. This session will   provide an opportunity for  students, teachers,  schools  and district leaders and others in the community  to consider how we can continue to move forward with their personal and professional journey in the work of Indigenous education.

FORMAT:   ZOOM

1.   Register as an Individual you will work on line in groups in education  from across the province of British Columbia

2.    Register as a group, school, district or another organization, this assumes you are in a common meeting place and will work in Break -out sessions with your group
